As we gear up for the holiday season, Lake View is transforming into a twinkling wonderland of festive lights and decorations. This year, we’re excited to announce the first-ever Lake View Festive Lights Extravaganza, a friendly neighborhood competition to spread holiday cheer and creativity.

How It Works:

Residents are encouraged to deck their homes with the most dazzling, creative, and festive lights and decorations. A panel of judges, including community leaders and volunteers, will tour the neighborhoods to select the most outstanding displays based on creativity, originality, and overall holiday spirit.

Categories and Prizes:

Grand Illuminator: Awarded to the overall best display in Lake View.

Whimsical Wonder: For the most creatively themed decorations.

Dazzling Diversity: Recognizing displays that incorporate a variety of cultural or holiday traditions.

Glowing Gratitude: Celebrating homes that use lights and decorations to express gratitude to essential workers and the community.

Winners in each category will receive special recognition in the January newsletter and, of course, neighborhood bragging rights!

Get Involved:

To participate, simply ensure your festive lights are on display by December 20th. There’s no formal entry process—just let your lights shine! And for those who may not decorate but love to appreciate, take a stroll or drive through the neighborhoods to enjoy the brilliant displays.
